In a follow up to The Nanny Diaries, we find Nan Hutchinson married and now returned to New York for a new start with her husband, Harvard Hottie, aka "H.H." in Nanny Returns.
Nan soon finds herself entangled with the social and family conflicts of the hottie-totties she grew to hate in Nanny Diaries. Grayer X comes to visit, drunk and distraught that the nanny 'abandoned' him those years ago. Mr and Mrs. X are set for divorce. Through Nan's perennial sense of care for the children, she reluctantly agrees to assist Grayer and his younger brother through their parent's divorce. Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus's book is a great complement to The Nanny Diaries. Nan is confident, caring and seems to be the only level-headed one in the world of greed that surrounds her.
